Six people were sent to area hospitals after a two vehicle crash at Lockport road and Oak Orchard road in Elba on Sunday night.
An SUV headed east on Lockport road collided with a pick up truck headed north on Oak Orchard road a little after 8:00p.m.
Both vehicles overturned.
There were four people in the SUV, a mom, an infant and two other children according to State Police. The mom, the driver of the SUV, was extricated from the SUV and transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital. Troopers say she was conscious and alert.
The infant and two other children were also transported to Strong Hospital by ambulance.
They were conscious and alert.
Two men in the pick up truck were transported by ground ambulance to UMMC as a precaution.
State Police say the SUV failed to yield the right of way at the intersection.
