A Rochester trio is facing felony grand larceny 4th and conspiracy 5th charges after they allegedly stole over $2,200 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s Department Store at 4170 Veteran’s Memorial Drive on Friday afternoon.

Davion Z. Jackson, 23, of Curlew Street, Jeremy L Siplin, 40, of Lakeview Street, and Shabre A.Young, 25, of Fulton Avenue, all of Rochester, allegedly exited the store with the merchandise and loss prevention employees were able to get license plate information and a description to dispatchers.
Deputy Andrew Hale and Trooper Mitch Hamilton were able to locate the vehicle traveling north on Rt. 98 in the Town of Batavia.
The vehicle then fled from police when a traffic stop was initiated.
During the pursuit on Rt. 98, suspects were seen discarding stolen items from the vehicle in the area of the Genesee/Orleans County line until the intersection of Rt. 98 and Lime Kiln road in the Town of Albion/Barre where the vehicle crashed.
The vehicle struck a utility pole as it attempted to turn right onto Lime Kiln road at an excessive speed. The vehicle then overturned, striking the pole and shearing it off.
Two of the occupants then fled on foot, but were apprehended quickly and in close proximity to the crashed vehicle.

Young, the driver, was transported to UMMC and evaluated and then released.
Young is also facing several other charges in the incident.
She is charged with reckless endangerment 1st, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, speeding, speed in a zone, speed in a school zone, speed in a work zone, moving from a lane unsafely, no turn signal, failed to keep right, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Young will also face vehicle and traffic charges in Orleans County, she was driving with a suspended license.
All three were arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court by Justice Williams.
Siplin was held without bail. Jackson was jailed on $20,000 cash and $30,000 bond and Young was jailed in lieu of $10,000 cash and $15,000 bond .
All three will re-appear in the Town of Batavia Court on December 7, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.
The incident is being investigated by Deputies Andrew Hale and Joseph Loftus with assistance from other members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, NYS Police, Batavia Police, Albion Police and the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office
