On December 8, 2017, on Petrie Lane in Lyndonville, Investigator Gifaldi of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Dean Smith Jr., 41, of Dean’s Home Improvement in Perry, with grand larceny 3rd. {A person is guilty of grand larceny in the third degree when they steal property and when the value of the property exceeds three thousand dollars. Grand larceny in the third degree is a “D” felony punishable by up to 7 years in prison.}
Smith was remanded to the jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond and is scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court.
On December 8, 2017, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Deputy Narburgh, assisted by Deputy Papponetti, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Katherine Hahn, 28, of Medina, with petit larceny. She is scheduled appear in the Town of Albion Court at a later date.
On December 10, 2017, on Ridge Road in Albion, Deputy Stirk of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by New York State Police Officer Radford, charged Martin Vallejo, 48, of Kent, with DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or more. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Gaines Court at a later date.
On December 12, 2017, on Holley Road in Albion, Deputy Fox, assisted by Sgt. Doyle and Deputy Colonna of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, the Albion Police Department, The New York State Police, and DEC, charged Orlando Hernandez, 23, of Albion, with criminal contempt 1st and harassment 2nd. He was remanded to the jail on $10,000 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.
On December 16, 2017, on Yates Center Road in Lyndonville, Deputy Fox assisted by Deputy Pahuta, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Robert Kazukiewicz Sr, 57, of Lyndonville, with criminal mischief. He was remanded to the jail on $500 cash, $1,000 bond and is scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court at a later date.
