A travel advisory has been issued for all of Genesee County due to extremely high winds.
A travel advisory means that no unnecessary travel is advised.
High winds are causing poor visibility and poor road conditions. Motorist that must travel are advised to watch for drifting snow on the roadways, especially on the north/south roads.
The Advisory is in effect from 6:00a.m. December 25, 2017 until further notice.
Sheriff Sheron also reminds motorist that dark traffic signals that are not working are to be treated as a four-way stop.
