Victoria L.Young, 23, appeared in Attica Village Court Monday morning and pleaded not guilty in an incident allegedly involving a child performing a sex act on an adult in a video.
Attica Police received a complaint January 14, 2018 of a person receiving a video from Young depicting a sexual act by a child on an adult, the child is 4 years old according to police.
Young is charged with sexual abuse 1st, a class D felony, use of a child less than 17 for sexual performance, a class C felony and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to police, Young and the victim are related and the child has been placed in the custody of relatives. An order of protection was issued barring any contact with the juvenile victim.
Young is being held on $100,000 bail.
After pleading not guilty, District Attorney Donald O’Geen requested that Young be held on no bail for violating her probation.
In March of 2017, Young and her ex, Michael Young, were arrested in an incident where a Sheriff’s Deputy performed a traffic stop on Young’s vehicle after it was observed driving with no insurance and a suspended vehicle registration.
During the stop, Victoria Young, who was found in the passenger seat, told police she was 38 weeks pregnant and in labor, her vehicle was then escorted directly to the hospital in Warsaw.
Afterwards it was discovered that Victoria was not pregnant and she had lied to police. Victoria was currently on probation for this incident.
A violation of probation hearing will be held at Attica Village Court on February 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., until then she will be held on no bail.
Michael Young also appeared in Village Court on Monday morning for a separate incident that occurred in July of 2017 where he is charged with grand larceny 3rd and criminal possession of stolen property.
Victoria’s mother, Joelle D. Good, 39, who is in the custody of State Corrections, also appeared in Village Court Monday morning.
Good pleaded guilty to assault 3rd in an incident that occurred in August of 2017 where she was involved in an altercation with a female tenant at her address in Attica.
Good is doing jail time for violating her probation in an incident that occurred in April of 2016 where she shot three vehicles with a .22 caliber rifle.
Good was given a conditional discharge on the assault 3rd charge.
