GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia woman charged with identity theft

Shannon L. Klinkbell-Hayday, 41, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with identity theft 1st and grand larceny 4th following a fraud investigation.

Klinbell-Hayday allegedly assumed the identity of another person with intent to defraud and stole property valued at more than $1,000 in an incident on November 29, 2016 on Bethany Center road in Bethany.

Klinkbell-Hayday was arraigned in Bethany Town Court by Judge McBride and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Klinkbell-Hayday is due back in court on March 20, 2018 at 7:00p.m.

 

 

Jason L. Perry, 23, of Maple St., Batavia, is charged with promoting prison contraband 1st after allegedly introducing contraband into the secure portion of the Genesee County Jail on March 2, 2018.

Perry was arraigned in Town of Batavia Court and remanded to the jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond bail. He is scheduled to appear in City Court at a later date.

Genesee County Corrections Officers assisted in the investigation.

 

 

Scott H. Spencer, 54, of Ravenwood St., Rochester, is charged with bail jumping 2nd after allegedly failing to appear in County Court on a felony charge from November 17, 2017.

Scott was arrested by the Monroe County Probation Department on a bench warrant issued out of Genesee County and turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.

Scott is being held at the Genesee County Jail pending arraignment on March 5, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

 

Dawn M. Gates, 48, of Maplewood Parkway, S. Glenns Falls, NY, is charged with bail jumping after allegedly failing to appear in court after being released on a felony criminal matter on January 11, 2017 on Park road.

Gates turned herself in at Pembroke Town Court and was arraigned. She was remanded to the jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail.

 

 

Robert V. Campbell, 35, of College View Drive, Batavia, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, driving with  a BAC of .18% or more, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and unlicensed operator after a property damage accident on College View Drive on March 1, 2018.

The female operator of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident and the vehicle was located a Campbell’s  residence.

Campbell allegedly operated the vehicle to his location in an intoxicated condition.

He was processed at the Genesee County Jail and released on appearance tickets. Campbell will appear in the Town of Batavia Court  on March 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

The City of Batavia Police Department assisted in the investigation.

 

Lawrence A. Elsaw, 18, of Oak Mills Crossing, West Henrietta, NY, is charged with criminal mischief after an investigation into a complaint on Batavia Stafford Townline road on January 23, 2018.

Elsaw allegedly damaged a window in excess of $250.

He was released with an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on March 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

 

Christopher M. Macomber, 45, of Buffalo St., Bergen, was arrested on a bench warrant out of the Town of Bergen Court after an incident on Park road in February of 2018. Macomber was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and no tail lamps in the incident. He was arraigned in the Town of LeRoy Court by Judge Duyssen and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $1,500 cash bail and $4,000 bond bail.

Macomber will appear in the Town of Bergen Court on March 7, 2018 at 5:00p.m.
