Elizabeth M. Grattan, 27, of State St., is charged with assault 2nd, with a deadly weapon, and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd after an incident on Lewis Place on March 16, 2018 at 9:50p.m.
Grattan allegedly stabbed another person with a steak knife during an altercation.
Grattan was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the jail until her appearance yesterday in City Court.
Moises Garza Jr., 21, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation and unlawful imprisonment 2nd, following an investigation into an incident on Washington avenue March 17, 2018, where he allegedly prevented a person from leaving a room and also placed his hands around that same person’s neck and throat applying pressure.
Garza Jr., was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of bail. He re-appeared in City Court March 19, 2018.
Jason J. Raffel Jr., 25, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd after an incident on State street where Raffel Jr. allegedly refused to leave an active crime scene, demanding to be shown evidence of the crime on March 17, 2018.
After having been warned by officers to leave the scene, Raffel Jr. refused to leave multiple times and had to be removed.
He was released on the charge and is due back in City Court on March 27, 2018.
Bryan D. Bates, 38, of E. Center St., Medina, is charged with criminal contempt 1st after allegedly violating an order of protection on March 11, 2018 on Oak street.
Bates was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.
He re-appeared in court on March 19, 2018.
