On Friday March 30, 2018, the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force along with members of the Greater Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Wyoming County Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant on a room at a local hotel/motel during the afternoon. Two people were arrested.
Task Force members arrested Shawn M. Hunter, AKA “Bigs”, 33, of Wakefield St., Rochester, and charged him with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, endangering the welfare of a child, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Also charged is Nikekia L. Desius, 22, of Hawkins St., Rochester. Desius is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Hunter was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine, a quantity of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia.
Desius was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia. A child was also located in the room.
Desius was issued an appearance ticket and Hunter was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.
Walter B. Hale Jr., 40, of East Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after an investigation into a possible violation of a court order on March 30, 2018 in Oakfield.
Hale allegedly posted photos online of protected parties named in an order.
He was arraigned in the Oakfield Town Court and released on recognizance. Hale appeared in Oakfield Town Court this evening.
Andrew G. Jones, 54, of Attridge Rd., Churchville, is charged with DWI, DWI/drugs/alcohol, refusal to take a breath test and speeding after a traffic stop on Rt. 33 in the Town of Batavia on March 31, 2018.
Jones was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and released.
Faith M. Greene, 21, of Canterbury Ln., Tonawanda, NY, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding in excess of 55mph following a traffic stop on Rt.77 in Darien on March 31, 2018.
Greene was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Darien Court on May 1, 2018 at 4:00p.m.
Austin K. Vogt, 20, of Fairway 6, Macedon, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 4th for allegedly breaking a bathroom mirror at College Village by punching it. The incident occurred on March 31, 2018.
Vogt was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on April 24, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
Yamika VA Gassant, 22, of Batavia Stafford Townline Rd., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after Gassant was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana following an investigation by the Genesee County Drug Task Force. Gassant was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on April 9, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
