STATE POLICE/WYOMING COUNTY/Perry man accused of driving under the influence of drugs

On March 29, 2018, at 7:22p.m., Troopers out of State Police Warsaw arrested Clayton R. Zemke, 21, of Perry, for driving while impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to keep right.

Troopers were dispatched to a vehicle off the road way. While interviewing Zemke, he stated that he fell asleep and that he was on anti-depressant medication. A pipe containing marijuana was also located in the vehicle.

Zemke was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests for DWAI-Drugs.

Zemke was taken to State Police Warsaw for processing. A DRE evaluation was preformed and it was determined that Zemke was impaired by the combined effects of depressants, cannabis and inhalants.

He was released and is to return to the Town of Perry Court on April 25, 2018.
