BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/S. Main street man’s vehicle gets stuck in the mud, steals another vehicle to push his out

Jason R. Anderson, 36, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with grand larceny 4th, a class E felony, DWAI/drugs, criminal mischief 4th and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument after he allegedly operated his vehicle in Kibbe Park, which became stuck in the mud, on April 17, 2018 at 1:27a.m.

Anderson then stole another vehicle to attempt to push his vehicle out of the mud. The stolen vehicle also became stuck in the mud.

Anderson was also allegedly found to be in an impaired condition by drugs and was found to be in possession of hypodermic needles.

He was arraigned in City Court and held on bail. Anderson re-appeared in court yesterday at 11:00a.m.

 

 

Kiara M. McCoy, 28, of Woodward St., Rochester, was arrested for having an active bench warrant for failure to answer a traffic summons from December 2017.

McCoy was located during a routine investigation by the Rochester Police Department and turned over to Batavia Police on the active bench warrant.

McCoy was processed, posted bail and will appear in City Court on May 1, 2018 at 1:00p.m. to answer the charges.
