The Stafford Historical Society has sponsored a series of programs on finding your family’s history.
Part 1 of the series was a workshop held on April 25th that discussed “How to find my family history.’
Dr. Michael Eula, Genesee County Historian, talked to a packed house about why you would look into your family history, the gathering of historical facts, doing an oral interview and creating a historical data table.
At the next scheduled meeting, Dr. Eula will have participants bring in what they have collected in regards to their family history and then present a research workshop on what people have found.
That workshop will be held June 27, 2018 at 7:00p.m. at the Stafford Town Hall.
