On May 3rd, 2018, Sarah Koch, 36, of Marilla, was arrested following an investigation into a residential burglary that occurred in the Town of Bennington on March 25, 2018.
Koch stole tools, money, and the victim’s savings account books.
She attempted to withdrawal money from the victims account at Alden State Bank, but the bank refused to release money to her. Koch is charged with burglary 2nd, petit larceny, and unlawful possession of personal identification information.
Koch was arraigned in the Town of Bennington Court and committed to jail on $15,000 cash bail. She appeared in court on May 7, 2018.
The Erie County Sheriff Office assisted with the investigation.
