PERRY POLICE REPORT/Wellsville man jailed after traffic stop

On Sunday June 3, 2018, a traffic stop was conducted after a vehicle was observed passing a stop sign on South Center Street at Lake Street.

The operator identified himself as Bradley R. Cornelius, 52, of Wellsville, N.Y.

Following a license check, Cornelius was found to have a revoked non-driver ID, due to a previous DWI conviction. Cornelius was also found to be operating without a court ordered ignition interlock device.

He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, operating out of interlock restriction and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Cornelius was arraigned in the Perry Village Court by Justice Bogert and remanded to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. A return court date was set for June 19, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
