BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Pearl street man jailed after domestic incident

Carlton L. Beardsley, 23, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th after a domestic incident on Pearl street where he allegedly damaged a vehicle on June 21, 2018 at 12:38a.m.

Beardsley initially fled the scene prior to police arriving on scene, but was located at the residence a few hours later where he was arrested.

He was arraigned in City Court and held at the Genesee County Jail on $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond bail.

Beardsley appeared in City Court again later today.

 

 

Cynthia L. Lardner, 33, of Swan St, Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after she left her 3 year old daughter in the care and custody of the defendant of a court order with a stay away order of protection against Lardner’s 3 year old daughter. The incident occurred on June 18, 2018 at 8:00a.m..

Lardner was issued an appearance ticket and released.

She is scheduled to appear in City Court on June 26, 2018 at 1:30p.m.

 

Jeremy C. Goodell, 44, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th after an investigation on June 3, 2018

Goodell allegedly damaged the side of a vehicle that was driving past him in the Batavia Commons parking lot by striking it.

Goodell was processed at the jail and then issued an appearance ticket.

He appeared on June 19, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Adam D. Smart, 35, of Buell St., Batavia, is charged with aggravated criminal contempt 1st/previous conviction, after he was located at the address of a protected party who has an active order to stay away.

Smart was arrested for violating the order.

He was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail. He will re-appear in court at a later date.

 

 

Gerald A. Mattison, 25, of Cary Ave., Oakfield, is charged with DWI, speeding in a zone, aggravated unlicensed operation , unlicensed operation and open container in a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on North street on June 16, 2018.

Mattison was processed, arraigned and held at the Genesee Coutny Jail.

He re-appeared in court on Jun1 18, 2018.

 

 

Janet L. Grossman, 51,of Ellsworth Ave., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny, after a shoplifting investigation at Tops at 390 West Main street.

Grossman was issued an appearance ticket and released. She will appear in City Court on June 26, 2018.

 

 

Nancy L. Lawrence, 60, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with trespass following an investigation where she was found on a property she was previously banned from.

Lawrence was issued an appearance ticket and released.  She will appear in City Court on a later day.

 

 

Leon W. Johnson, 34, of S. Main street, Albion, is charged with criminal trespass 2nd following a domestic incident on Edwards Street .

Johnson was issued an appearance ticket and released. Johnson will appear in City Court at a later day.

 

 

Alexis R. Chavez, 19, of Transit Rd., Elba was arrested on a warrant out of City Court on June 20, 2018.

The warrant was issued for failure to appear after driving while impaired by drugs.

Chavez was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $2,500 cash bail or $2,500 cash or bond.

Chavez is due back in court on June 21, 2018.

 

 

Oscar L. Brewer, 18, of St. Paul St., Rochester, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court as directed on April 19, 2018.

Brewer pleaded guilty to criminal mischief 4th and was released on his own recognizance.

He appeared  in Court  on June 18, 2018.

 

 

 

Brooke L. Brumber, 18, of Washington Ave., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear on June 14, 2018

Brumber was released and appeared in City Court ar 1:00p.m.

 

 

Timothy J. Corke II, of Liberty street, Batavia was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana at 232 Liberty street.

Corke was found to be in possession of marijuana at a residence.

Corke was issued an appearance ticket and released and will appear in City Court on June 26, 2018.

 

 

 

Ian J. Blake, 31, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found to be in possession  of  marijuana.

Blake was issued an appearance ticket and released and will return to City Court on June 26, 2018.
