Craig M. Lafferty, 35, of Pike, was arrested following a domestic violence complaint on Main Street in the Town of Pike on July 6, 2018.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a male and female fighting on Main Street where the male was kicking and pulling on the female. Deputies arrived to find a running vehicle with a young child in the back seat, and two adults were then located upstairs at an apartment still arguing.
After parties were separated, Lafferty was found to have become physical with the female in front of their two children.
Lafferty is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment 2nd in the incident and was arraigned in the Town of Pike Court where an order of protection was issued.
Lafferty was released from court and scheduled to return to the Town of Pike Court on August 7, 2018 for further proceedings.
A motorcyclist was arrested following a motorcycle accident on Route 20A at Folsomdale Road in the Town of Sheldon.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a one motorcycle accident with injury. It was determined the motorcycle had been passing a farm tractor near the intersection while the farm tractor was attempting to turn into a farm field. The motorcycle drove off the roadway, and upon attempting to drive back onto the pavement the motorcycle overturned and ejected both occupants. Both occupants were transported by ambulance to ECMC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the motorcycle, Justin A. Wekenmann, 35, of Irving, NY, was found to have an expired and suspended driver’s license.
Wekenmann was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, unlicensed operator and uninspected motor vehicle.
Wekenmann is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Sheldon Court at a later date.
A husband and wife from Holland, NY, were arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A at Dutch Hollow Road in the Town of Sheldon on July 6, 2018.
Steven M. Caradori, 55, was stopped while driving his vehicle with a window tint infraction. During the traffic stop, Caradori was found to have forged his NYS Certificate of Inspection on his vehicle. Caradori was also found to be in possession of four Tramadol pills, a Schedule IV Controlled Substance. Caradori’s wife, Victoria Caradori, 29, was found to be in possession of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe.
Victoria Caradori is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was issued an appearance ticket.
Steven Caradori is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, displayed forged certificate of inspection, uninspected motor vehicle, and illegal window tint. Caradori was fingerprinted, issued appearance tickets, and released.
Both Steven and Victoria Caradori are scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Sheldon Court on July 23, 2018.
