BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/ Pair arrested and jailed after incidents on Montclair avenue

Andrew J. Duckworth, 39, of Montclair Ave., is charged with criminal contempt 1st and criminal mischief 4th after a domestic incident on Montclair avenue where Duckworth allegedly damaged property and violated an order of protection on August 13, 2018 at 4:04p.m.

Duckworth was jailed without bail and appeared in court on August 14, 2018.

The next day, police charged Kelly M. Howell, 32, of Montclair Ave., with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a hypodermic instrument, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th after narcotics and narcotics equipment were allegedly found inside her residence where three children under the age of 17 had the ability to gain access to it.

Howell was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $10,000 cash/bond bail. She re-appeared in court on August 15, 2018.

 

 

Patrick S. Rumble, 31, of Hutchins Place, Batavia, was arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt 1st, robbery 3rd and grand larceny 4th after he allegedly stole a cell phone from a person’s hand who is a protected party in a stay away order of protection. Rumble then allegedly pushed and struck that person during the incident.

Rumble was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $5,000 cash and $10,000 bond.

He re-appeared in court on August 16, 2018.

 

 

Kevin M. McCoy, 51, of Central Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd/damaged property amount greater than $250, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, and harassment 2nd after police were called to an address on East Main street where he allegedly broke an apartment window.

Upon arrival, McCoy fled the scene, but showed up again later, attempting to elude police again. He was eventually apprehended and arrested. McCoy was arraigned in City Court and held without bail.

He is due back in court on August 23, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

 

 

Dustin W. Bogue, 36, no permanent address, was arrested after he initiated a physical altercation with Mercy EMS Paramedics at UMMC at 127 North Street on August 7, 2018 at 3:00p.m.

He is charged with attempted assault 2nd/intent to cause injury to officer/firefighter/EMT/Hospital staff, criminal mischief and criminal tampering 3rd.

Bogue was arraigned and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to re-appear at a later date.

 

 

A 17 year old female of LeRoy, is charged with harassment 2nd after she allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another person at 20 Main street, Tim Hortons, on July 13, 2018. The teen was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 22, 2018 at 12:30p.m.

 

 

Kyle A. Scheuerlein, 25, of Leyland Ln., Aurora, IL, is charged with ,DWI, refusal to take a breath test and failure to stop at a stop sign after a traffic stop Clinton street on August 4, 2018 at 1:16a.m.

Scheuerlein was issued uniform traffic tickets and released. He will appear in City Court on August 22, 2018 at 9:00a.m.

 

Jeffrey M. Johnson, 30, of Jackson St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd for pushing a female during an incident on Jackson street on August 5, 2018.

Johnson was processed and released with an appearance ticket. He appeared in City Court on August 14, 2018.

 

Austin B. Nelson, 22, of Thomas Ave., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing an amount of money from a business where he was employed at 505 East Main street. The incident occurred on July 5, 2018.

Nelson was issued and appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 28, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Paul J. Doctor, 40, of Oak St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding in a zone following a traffic stop for speeding on Clinton street on August 5, 2018.

A passenger, Jason M. Frens, 47, of Griffin Rd., Basom, is charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th after allegedly being found to be in possession of a crack pipe, chore boy and plunger with drug residue.

Both appeared in City Court on August 14, 2018.

 

 

Danny D. Williams, 29, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with disorderly conduct following a disturbance on Watson street on August 10, 2018. Williams would not disperse and continued to attempt to fight another male subject on location.

Williams is to appear in City Court on August 21, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Robert M. Sindon, 37, of W. Genesee St., Clyde, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and two counts of  Leandra’s Law DWI/driving with a passenger less than 16 years old, after a traffic complaint on East Main street where he allegedly operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated with two children under the age of 15 in the vehicle.

Sindon was arraigned in City Court on August 6, 2018 and remanded to the jail without bail. He re-appeared on August 7, 2018.

 

 

James R.Tillery, 46, of Farwell Dr., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd following an incident where he allegedly struck another person on Farewell drive on August 11, 2018.

Tillery was issued an appearance ticket and released.

He appeared in City Court on August 14, 2018.

 

 

Carrie L. Hensley, 41, of Highland Park, Batavia, is charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and driving with a BAC of .08% or more after she was found to have operated a vehicle while intoxicated on August 13, 2018 at 12:16a.m.

Hensley was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in City Court on August 22, 2018.

 

 

A 16 year old male was arrested after allegedly littering and allegedly dumping garbage onto the property at Speedway at 204 W. Main street on August 1, 2018.

The teen was asked to pick it up by store employees and did not pick it up.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 21, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Justin T. Gladney, 29, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny for allegedly stealing a bicycle at 505 East Main street on August 9, 2018. He was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on August 14, 2018.

 

 

Ahdeosun R. Aiken, 20, of Ellicott Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after allegedly violating a stay away order of protection by being at the protected person’s residence during an incident on Walnut street on August 3, 2018.

Aiken was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance. He appeared back in court on August 6, 2018.

 

 

Isaiah J.A. Munroe, 28, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th after damaging a door at a residence on Liberty street on August 11, 2018.

Munroe was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on August 14, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Steven D. Clattenburg, 58, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with no seat belt, DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for no seat belt on Jefferson avenue on August 7, 2018.

Clattenburg will appear in City Court on August 22, 2018.

 

 

A 17 year old female was issued a ticket for being in Austin Park after hours on August 2, 2018 at 11:47p.m.

The teen will appear in City Court on August 21, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Two 17 year old males are each charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after they were located in Williams Park after hours on August 9, 2018 at 8:49p.m.

The two teens allegedly had an amount of marijuana in their possession.
