Sandra D. Bolden, 57, of Buffalo was arrested by Deputy Chase following a traffic stop involving excessive speed on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on September 1, 2018.
Bolden was stopped after she was observed operating her vehicle at a speed of 101 mph in a marked 55mph zone.
Following a roadside investigation and field sobriety testing, Bolden was placed under arrest for DWI. She was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where she given a breath test. Bolden is charged with speeding 101 in a 55, DWI, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 or higher and driving with a BAC of .08 or greater.
Bolden was released to a sober third party and will answer the charges on a later date in the Town of Perry Court.
Gerald L. Smith, 32, of Batavia, is facing numerous charges following a traffic stop in the Town of Covington on September 8, 2018.
Smith was stopped by Deputy Chase for having an expired inspection and the vehicle was found to be displaying a switched NYS Inspection sticker.
Following a roadside investigation and field sobriety testing, Smith was determined to be driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he underwent a drug influence evaluation by a certified Drug Recognition Expert.
Smith was determined to be impaired by drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely. He is charged with uninspected motor vehicle, displaying a forged inspection certificate, DWAI/Drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree. Smith was released to a sober third party and will answer the charges in the Town of Covington Court at a later date.
Cynthia E. Tinker, 56, of Mount Morris, was arrested by Deputy Chase on Route 63 in the Town of Covington after she was observed speeding 76mph in a marked 55mph zone on September 8, 2018.
Tinker was found to have an active suspension on her NYS driver’s license in the Town of Mount Morris for failure to answer a summons.
Tinker is charged with speeding (76 in a 55 zone), unlicensed operation, and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. She was released to a third party and will answer the charges in the Town of Covington Court at a later date.
Kristopher L. Hakes, 41, of Nunda, was arrested by Deputy Chase on Hardys Road in the Town of Pike following a traffic stop for an inspection violation on September 6, 2018.
Hakes was found to be operating a vehicle with a switched inspection sticker and a NYS driver’s license that was suspended 5 times for various reasons. Hakes is charged with uninspected motor vehicle, displaying a forged inspection, and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. Hakes was released to a third party and will answer the charges in the Town of Pike Court at a later date.
Alexus M. Pinskey, 22, of Holley, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd following a traffic stop in the Village of Warsaw on September 7, 2018 for a broken brake light.
Pinskey was found to have two active suspensions on her license for failure to answer a summons.
She is charged with inadequate stop lamps and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. Pinskey was released and will answer the charges in the Village of Warsaw Court at a later date.
