On September 19, 2018 at about 2:39a.m., Officer Prusak of the Perry Police Department attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Village of Perry for an equipment violation.
The operator of the vehicle, Curtis W. Harkins, no age or address provided, attempted to evade the law enforcement.
A short pursuit ensued and ended on St. Helena Street in the Village of Perry.
Officers charged Harkins with no/inadequate plate lamps, failure to comply with a lawful order, use of a motor vehicle without interlock device, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd, unlicensed operator,
obstruction of governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Harkins was arraigned in the Village of Perry Court and was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $1,000 bail or $2,500 bond. He is to return to the Village of Perry Court on October 2, 2018.
