BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Parents charged after encouraging their kids to fight

Robin L. Williams, 33,  of Jackson St., Batavia and Michael L. Jackson Jr., 37, of Maple St., Batavia, are each charged with endangering the welfare of child after allegedly allowing and encouraging their daughters, juveniles, to engage in a physical altercation on Thorpe street on July 3, 2018.

Both Williams and Jackson Jr. were issued appearance tickets. Williams will appear in City Court on November 27, 2018 at 1:30p.m., Jackson appeared in City Court on November 13, 2018.

 

James E Soggs III, 24, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief after a domestic altercation with his girlfriend on Thomas avenue on November 11, 2018.

Soggs was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the jail on $2,500 cash or bond bail.

He will appear in City Court at a later date.

 

 

Heidi L. Harder, 43, of Montclair Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child less than 17 after an investigation into a report of drug activity being conducted in the presence of a child and forcing that child to smoke marijuana.

The incident occurred on September 9, 2018 on Montclair avenue.

Harder is also accused of possessing drug paraphernalia and drug packaging material.

 

 

Christopher A Ridgeway Jr., 26, of Bridgewood Rd., Midlothian , VA, is charged with, unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, unlicensed operation and operating without headlights after a traffic stop on West Main street on November 7, 2018 at 1:17a.m.

Ridgeway was arrested, posted bail and was issued an appearance ticket along with several traffic tickets.

Ridgeway will return to City Court at a later date.

 

 

Andrew D. Vicary, 27, of E. Main Rd., Stafford, is charged with DWI, unsafe backing and following too closely after an investigation into a three car accident at East Main street and Swan street on November 1, 2018 at 4:04p.m.

Vicary was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance.

 

Cynthia M. Mack, 51, of S. Swan St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd following a probation house check on S. Swan street on November 14, 2018.

Mack was found  to have a guest at her residence whom she was restricted from having any contact with due to a complete stay away order of protection.

Mack is being held at the jail on $2,500 bail/bond.

 

 

Jessica L. Holtz, 35, of Williams St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly stole $3.48 worth of merchandise from Save A Lot at 45 Ellicott street on October 31, 2018.

Holtz was processed at the jail and issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on November 20, 2018.
