TeeSean T. Ayala, 19, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd, a felony, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a felony, unlawful possession of marijuana and plate obstructed after a traffic stop at 317 Washington avenue on November 15, 2018 at 4:48p.m..
Ayala was allegedly in possession of a stolen handgun that had a defaced serial number in the vehicle during the traffic stop. He was also allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana during the traffic stop.
Ayala was arraigned in City Court by Judge Rogers and was remanded to the jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
He will re-appear in City Court today.
The incident is being investigated by Investigator Christopher Parker with assistance from numerous members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Batavia Police Department, NYS Police and the Genesee County Drug Task Force.
