BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Teen held without bail after domestic incident

A 17 year old, of Walnut street, Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment 2nd, criminal mischief 4th(2 counts) and coercion 1st after an investigation into a domestic dispute on November 30, 2018 on Lewis place.

The teen was arraigned in City Court by Judge Balbick and ordered held without bail. The teen re-appeared in court on December 3, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Douglas G. Goodwin Sr., 57, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with criminal tampering 3rd after he was located at his residence and arrested for allegedly throwing clothing and furniture that belonged to his tenant outside, which allegedly created a substantial inconvenience for his tenant to clean up and repair the property.

Goodwin Sr. was issued an appearance ticket and released and will appear in City Court to answer the charge on December 4, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Leonard T. Masters, 49, of Split Rail Rd., Painted Post, NY, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, improper left turn and failure to obey a traffic control device after a traffic stop on Ellicott street on November 23, 2018 at 12:52a.m.

Masters was released on uniform traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on December 12, 2018 at 9:00a.m.

 

 

Andrew D. Vicary, 27, of E. Main Rd., Stafford, is charged with DWI, unsafe backing and following too closely after an investigation into a three car accident that occurred at East Main street and Swan street on November 1, 2018 at 4:04p.m.

Vicary was arraigned in City Court and was released on his own recognizance.

He appeared in City Court on November 2, 2018

 

 

Dalton C. Kelley, 21, of Chase Park, Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd following an investigation into the report that he allegedly grabbed another person and scratched them on November 27, 2018.

Kelley was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on December 11, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Kevin J. Fickel, 37, of State St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny following an incident at JCPenney at 40 City Center on November 20, 2018.

Fickel allegedly took two sets of cookware and exited the store without paying for the items.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court later today to answer the charge.

 

 

Alyssa M. Harnish, 30, of Ellsworth Ave., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny following a shoplifting complaint at Tops Supermarket at 390 West Main street on November 28, 2018.

Harnish was released on an appearance ticket and she will appear in City Court later today to answer the charge.

 

 

Jessica L. Holtz, 35, of Williams St., Batavia, was arrested on an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on November 28, 2018.

Holtz was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the jail. She will re-appear in court at a later date.

 

 

Brandon D. Brewer, 29, of Maple Ave., Medina, is charged with unlawful possession go marijuana after an accident investigation on November 18, 2018 at 214 East Main street at 2:54 a.m.

Brewer was arrested and issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on December 5, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Jessica L. Connolly, 40, of Bank St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant after failing to appear in City Court on a traffic misdemeanor and other traffic violations on November 5, 2018.

Connolly was released on recognizance and appeared in City Court on November 28, 2018 at 12:30p.m.

 

 

Aretha Jackson, 41, of Main St., Oakfield, was arrested on an active bench warrant issued out of City Court on September 6, 2018.

Jackson allegedly failed to appear for a court date.

She was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the jail in lieu of $250 cash or bond bail.

Jackson re-appeared in court on November 21, 2018.
