GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/LeRoy woman charged after erratically driving through the Town and Village of LeRoy

Roberta A. Goodman, 51, of East Main Rd., LeRoy, is charged with DWAI/drugs, previous conviction, after dispatchers received multiple calls for a motor vehicle operating erratically westbound on Rt. 5 through the Town and Village of LeRoy on December 9, 2018 at 10:15a.m.

Detective Condidorio of the LeRoy Police Department was able to catch up to Goodman’s vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the Town of Stafford.

Deputies also responded to the scene and conducted an investigation and administered field sobriety tests. Following the tests, Goodman was arrested for DWAI/drugs as an E felony because of a prior conviction.

She was transported to the Genesee County Jail, where Deputy Matt Butler, a certified drug recognition expert, administered a Drug Influence Evaluation.

Goodman was then arraigned in the Town of Stafford Court and jailed in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

Additional charges are pending.

Deputy Ryan DeLong is investigating the case. Also assisting in the incident were Deputies Erik Andre and Kevin McCarthy.

Jason L. McKenzie, 40 of Covell Rd., Pavilion, is charged with petit larceny after a complaint from Walmart on November 30 , 2018.

McKenzie allegedly stole merchandise from the store by passing all points of purchase and not paying for items.

McKenzie was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 7, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
