NYS Police/LeRoy Town Justice arrested for endangering

On December 10, 2018, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) arrested John R. Duyssen, 50, of Stafford, NY for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd.  

On December 4, 2018, SP Batavia BCI were advised of a possible child abuse case from Child Protective Services.  Further investigation revealed that Duyssen struck a 9-year-old victim causing injuries. 

Duyssen was arrested and processed at SP Batavia and arraigned at the town of Bergen Court.  Duyssen was issued an order of protection and released on his on recognizance. 

Duyssen next court date will be at the town of Leroy Court later in December 2018.

Duyssen is the Town Justice at the town of Leroy Court.
