BATAVIA/Man violated a complete stay away order of protection, holding the protected party in their residence refusing to let them leave

Through an investigation, it was determined that Iszon Richardson, no age or address provided, violated a complete stay away order of protection after the victim of a domestic incident responded to the Batavia Police Department.

Richardson held the protected party at their residence and refused to allow them to leave.

A short time later, Batavia Police received information that Richardson had returned to the protected party’s residence. Officers responded and located Richardson hiding.

He was taken into custody on Jackson street and charged with for (4 counts) of criminal contempt 1st, (3 counts) burglary 2nd, (1 Count) unlawful imprisonment 1st. Richardson was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.

He is scheduled to re-appear in Batavia City Court at a later date.

The case was investigated by P.O. LINDSAY, assisted by SGT. CAMP, P.O. COWEN, P.O. RICHARDS, and P.O. GIVENS.
