Joseph J. Mazzarella Jr., 66, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd and criminal contempt 2nd after allegedly threatening a person in violation of an order of protection on February 11, 2019 on Bank street.
Mazzarella Jr. was remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $2,000 cash bail or bond.
Two days later, on February 13, 2019, Mazzarella Jr. was charged with criminal contempt 2nd after violating the order of protection again after allegedly contacting a protected party via phone.
He was issued an appearance ticket in this incident and will appear in City Court on February 26, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Luis A. Torres-Otero, 20, of Hutchins place, Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child after a domestic incident on Hutchins place on February 6, 2019.
Torres-Otero allegedly struck a female in the face while she was holding a child.
He was arraigned in City Court and was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice and will return to court on February 20, 2019 at 12:30p.m.
Zackery V.D. Seeley, 22, of Lyman Rd., Bergen, is charged with 3 counts of criminal contempt 2nd after violating a Batavia City Court Order of Protection by having contact with a protected party on February 12, 2019.
Seeley was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash bail and $2,500 bond bail. He re-appeared in court on February 14, 2019.
Damian C. Cogovan, 19, of E. Main St., Batavia, is charged with 2 counts of criminal contempt 2nd after being observed by Batavia Police in direct presence of two protected parties while at his residence on East Main street on February 7, 2019.
Cogovan was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash and $2,000 bond bail. Cogovan will return to City Court at a later date.
Christopher J. Diers, 36, of State St., Batavia, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of City Court on February 8, 2019, issued after he allegedly stole two lottery tickets from a business in November of 2018 on Ellicott street.
Diers was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $2,000 cash or bond bail.
Lawrence W. Worsley, 39, of Ridge Rd., Albion, was arrested on an City Court arrest warrant on February 10, 2019 after allegedly violating an order of protection from January of 2019.
Worsley was remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or bond bail. He will appear again at a later date.
