BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Vernon avenue man jailed after violating an order of protection

Patrick M. Viscuso, 54, of Vernon Ave., Batavia, is charged with burglary 2nd and criminal contempt 2nd after allegedly violating an order of protection after being present inside a protected person’s residence on Evans street on February 18, 2019.

Viscuso was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $5,000 cash or bond.

Justin T. Gladney Sr., 29, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny following a shoplifting complaint at Family Dollar at 577 East Main street on February 16, 2019.

Gladney was released on an appearance ticket ordering him to appear in City Court on February 19, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Melynda M. Gayhart, 31, of Hutchins St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after a shoplifting investigation at 7-Eleven a t 505 East Main street on February 17, 2019.

Gayhart allegedly stole beer from her employer.

Gayhart was released on an appearance ticket ordering her to appear in City Court on February 26, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
