Three people are facing drug charges after the execution of a search warrant by the Genesee County Drug Task Force and the Batavia Emergency Response Team at a residence on Hutchins street in the City of Batavia on Friday morning.
Darius L. Jones, aka”D”, 27, of Dewey Ave., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, class B felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, after allegedly being found to be in possession of a quantity of fentanyl, crack cocaine and US currency.
Jones was arraigned in City Court by Judge Balbick and jailed without bail.
Also charged was Lynda Harris, 59, of Hutchins St., Batavia. She is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, class B felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Harris was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and a quantity of marijuana. She was arraigned in City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
A third person, Jenna M. Morrill, 25, of Hutchins St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, class A misdemeanor and was issued an appearance ticket.
