WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Fugitive arrested

On March 26, 2019 while in the Village of Warsaw, Wyoming County Deputies were requested to assist Warsaw Police with locating a vehicle that had stolen a wheel barrow from a residence.

Deputies located the suspect vehicle on Liberty Street in the Village of Warsaw. After investigation, it was found that the passenger in the vehicle, Charles O’Donnell,, 32, of Castile, had an active violation of probation warrant out of the State of Nevada. Deputies were advised that the State of Nevada was requesting extradition.

O’Donnell was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to Attica Village Court for arraignment on the charge fugitive of justice. O’Donnell was held to the Wyoming County Jail with no bail and has a return court date of April 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Attica Village Court.

Ronnie J. Sumeriski, 37, of Batavia, was arrested following a traffic stop in the Town of Sheldon on March 28, 2019.

Sumeriski was stopped by deputies for having a tinted license plate cover and inadequate plate lamps, making the rear license plate barely visible. Following a roadside investigation, Sumeriski was found to be in possession of THC vape cartridge, containing concentrated cannabis.

Sumeriski is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, inadequate plate lamps, and obstructed license plate. Sumeriski was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Sheldon Court on May 6, 2019.

Molly Neamon, 38, of Holland, was arrested for petit larceny on the March 29, 2019.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Asset Protection Associates from Walmart advising they currently had a shoplifter detained. On arrival, it was alleged that Neamon had concealed/stole approximately $123.00 of health and care aids from Walmart without paying.

Neamon is charged with petit larceny, was arraigned and jailed in lieu of $250.00 cash bail. Neamon is to appear on April 15, 2019 in the Town of Warsaw Court to answer the charge.

Ryan E. Forrester, 39, of Perry, was arrested following a traffic stop in the Village of Castile Park on March 26, 2019. Forrester was stopped for multiple failures to signal for a turn infractions.

Forrester was found to be in possession of multiple packages of marijuana and a marijuana smoking bowl. He is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unsafe turn without signal. Forrester is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Castile Court on April 22, 2019. NYSP K-9 Rison assisted at the scene.

Vidal Chavez, 63, of Oakfield, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville on March 26, 2019.

Chavez was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended registration due to an insurance lapse. Chavez is charged with operation with a suspended registration, an unclassified misdemeanor, and released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Sheldon Court on April 15, 2019.
