GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/LeRoy man charged after a roadside welfare check

Ar-Rahmaan M. Jones, 38, of East Ave., LeRoy, is charged with DWAI/alcohol and open container after Sheriff’s deputies responded to a welfare check of a motorist parked roadside on Rt. 5 in the Town of Batavia on April 20, 2019.

Jones was allegedly under the influence of alcohol while behind the wheel of a running vehicle.

Jones was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on May 20, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Kayla F. Twardowski, 29, of Spencer Ct. Batavia, is charged with attempted grand larceny 3rd after she allegedly allowed for the deposit of two fraudulent checks, totaling over $3,000, to be deposited into her bank account on April 16, 2019.

Twardowski was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on May 7, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
