PERRY POLICE REPORT/Man charged after a noise complaint

A Perry man faces charges after a complaint of yelling on Covington Street.

Tyler Jordan, 23, was dropping off a passenger on Covington Street on April 21, 2019 at 3:06a.m. when the passenger began to yell, resulting in a noise complaint.

Officer Smith and Officer Freeman arrived on scene to investigate and observed Jordan sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.

After an investigation, Jordan failed field sobriety tests.

He is charged with DWI and driving with a BAC of 08% or more.

Jordan is due back in Perry Village Court at a later date.
