WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pennsylvania man charged after traffic stop in Java

Following a traffic stop for speeding on Route 98 in the Town of Java on April 17, 2019, Kevin R. Phelps, 46, of Erie , PA, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.

Phelps was arraigned in Java Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is to re-appear in Java Town Court on May 1, 2019 to answer the charge.

On April 14, 2019, Eric M. Kingsley, 31, of Warsaw, was arrested on a Wyoming County Superior Court Warrant for violation of felony probation.

Kingsley was transported to the Wyoming County Jail and will return to Wyoming County Court at a later date.

On April 14, 2019, Patrick J. Michael, 38, of Batavia was arrested by the City of Batavia Police Department on an active warrant of arrest issued by the Wyoming County Family Court.

Michael was wanted for failure to pay child support. He was turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or bond.
