Following the investigation of a motor vehicle crash into a house at 7889 Oak Orchard road, Batavia, on April 15, 2019, deputies arrested Rodney L. Harmon Jr., 42, of Church street Elba.
Harmon Jr. is charged with vehicular assault 2nd, assault 2nd, driving while ability impaired by drugs, reckless driving, moving from a lane unsafely and driving to the left of pavement markings.
Harmon and his passenger were allegedly involved in a domestic incident while Harmon was driving the Chevy Cruz southbound on Rt. 98. The Chevy Cruz crossed over hazard warnings into the northbound lane and then exited the highway into the north side of the house.
Harmon was transported to Strong Hospital and evaluated. He was issued an appearance ticket and will return to the Town of Batavia Court on May 27, 2019.
