Reyncrest Farms on RT. 77 in Corfu hosted the Genesee County Farm Bureau’s event “Kinderfarmin” for the 3rd year in a row on Wednesday morning.
Kindergarten students from every school district in Genesee County attended the event which is about 600 students.
Reyncrest Farm is owned by the Reynolds Family and started out with 30 cows in in 1956. The farm now has 1200 dairy cows and about 25 employees.
Kids toured 5 stations that brought them to the milking parlor, the storage area, along with a view of the shiny milk hauling truck, an area where they can visit with day old calves, and a station that explains cow dietary needs and comfort.
Tyler Reynolds says the event is important because kids should know where their food actually comes from.
