BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Man charged after violating order of protection

Wesley Thigpen, 38, no address provided, is charged with burglary 2nd, criminal contempt 2nd and criminal mischief 4th after an incident where he allegedly violated an order of protection by entering the protected party’s residence and preventing them from calling 911.

Thigpen turned himself in at the Batavia Police Headquarters on September 3, 2019 and is being held at the Jail on $15,000 cash and $30,000 bond bail.

Thigpen re-appeared in City Court on September 4, 2019.

Patricia A. Gibson, 29, of East Main street, Batavia, is charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration after a disturbance on Watson street on August 30, 2019.

Gibson was observed fighting with another person and ignored officer’s commands. She was eventually taken into custody without further incident.

Gibson was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City Court on September 10, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Jacob L. Hernandez, 25, of McKinley Ave., Batavia, was arrested on an active warrant issued out of City Court for criminal mischief 4th from July 4, 2019.

Hernandez was arraigned in City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

He is scheduled to re-appear in court on September 19, 2019 at 9:00a.m.
