GENESEE COUNTY/Rochester teen found with active warrant, accused of selling heroin to drug task force

Jahmiere D. Smith, 18, or of Rohr St., Rochester, is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies, after being picked up by the Rochester Police Department during an unrelated matter.

Smith was found to have an active warrant out of Genesee County.

He was taken into custody by the Rochester Police Department and then turned over to a Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Smith allegedly sold a quantity of heroin to an agent of the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force on two separate occasions.

Smith was arraigned in Genesee County Court and Judge Charles Zambito remanded him to the Genesee County Jail, with bail set at $1,500.

Task Force members were assisted by the Genesee County Sheriff Deputies and the District Attorney’s Office.
