The Batavia Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant in West Main street road in Batavia on September 17, 2019, stemming from a joint narcotic investigation that was conducted by the Local Drug Task Force and the NYS Police.
As a result of the investigation, three people are facing charges.
Scott E Hodgins, 55, of W. Main Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of a weapon 4th, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of a marijuana.
Hodgins was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and held without bail.
Kara B. Sass, 25, of W. Main Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Sass was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and bail was set at $10,000.
Heywood E. Wellington, 23, of Winterroth St., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Wellington was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
The Genesee County District Attorney’s Office also assisted with the investigation.
