Eric J. Olverd, 47, of Wallace St., Batavia, is charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, two counts of reckless endangerment 2nd, assault 2nd, injuring a victim over 65 years old, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief and harassment 2nd following a domestic incident on Wallace street on September 15, 2019.
Olverd was taken into custody and arrested and arraigned in City Court.
He was jailed in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond bail.
Olverd re-appeared in court on Tuesday.
Darrell Smith, 52, of Highland Park, Batavia, is charged with assault 3rd after an altercation with another person on Highland Park on September 16, 2019.
Smith allegedly punched the other person in the face, causing injury.
He was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance and will re-appear in court on October 3, 2019.
Michael S. Carter, 33, of Eagle Harbor Rd., Albion, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and failure to keep right on September 7, 2019.
Carter was released on an appearance ticket, but held at the jail on a violation of a parole warrant.
Carter is scheduled to appear in City Court on September 18, 2019 at 9:00a.m.
Jacqueline R. Garrett, 40, of Church St., LeRoy, is charged with illegal use of toxic vapors after being observed inhaling a toxic substance while in public at 587 East Main Street on September 16, 2019.
Garrett was processed at the Batavia Police Department and released on an appearance ticket.
She will appear in City Court on September 24, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Makeen K. Ithna-Asheri, 59, of East Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing a package of batteries at 412 East Main street on September 14, 2019.
Ithna-Asheri was released on an appearance ticket and appeared in City court on September 17, 2019.
Randy S. Turner, 63, of Burke Dr., Batavia, is charged with dog running at large following an investigation into a complaint where he allegedly allowed the family dogs to run at large onto a neighbor’s property.
Turner was issued an appearance ticket and released, he will appear in City Court on September 24, 2019.
Steve B. Nesbitt, 34, of Holland Ave., Batavia, is charged with owning an unlicensed dog after an incident on Holland avenue on September 16, 2019.
Nesbitt was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on September 24, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
A 17 year old male is charged with harassment 2nd after an incident that occurred on Ellicott street in Batavia on September 9, 2019.
The teen allegedly had unwanted contact with another person.
He was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on September 24, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Jesse D. Bowman, 27, of Vine St., Batavia, turned himself in to Batavia Police on a bench warrant out of City Court on September 16, 2019.
The warrant was issued on August 6, 2019.
Bowman was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance and will re-appear in City Court on October 3, 2019 at 9:30a.m.
