WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester man found in ditch in Attica with alcohol in vehicle

Dylan T. Rotella, 26, of Rochester, NY is facing numerous vehicle and traffic charges after he drove his vehicle off the roadway on Route 238 in the Town of Attica on November 15, 2019.

Rotella was found inside his vehicle in the ditch by a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Investigator, and numerous alcoholic beverage containers were observed inside the vehicle with Rotella.

Road patrol responded to assist, and following roadside field sobriety testing, Rotella was taken into custody. Rotella’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and Rotella was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Rotella was found to have a BAC of .36% following a breath chemical test. He was also found to have a suspended driver’s license.

Rotella is charged with aggravated DWI .18% BAC or Higher, DWI, driving with .08% BAC or higher, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, and moving from a lane unsafely.

He was arraigned in the Town of Attica Court where bail was set in the amount of $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond. Rotella is scheduled to return to the Town of Attica Court on December 9, 2019 for further proceedings

Following a domestic incident on North Water street in the Village of Pike, Sheriff’s deputies arrested Austin T. Hartman, 19, of Pike on November 17, 2019.

Hartman is charged with assault 3rd, criminal mischief 3rd, and endangering the welfare of a child after the incident.

Hartman was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court and released on Pre Trial Release. He is scheduled to appear in Pike Town Court on February 4, 2020 to answer to the charges.

On November 8, 2019, a deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on East Koy Road in the Town of Pike for failure to keep right.

Upon speaking with the operator and lone occupant of the vehicle, Kenneth J. Grisewood, 52, of Silver Springs, the deputy was able to detect a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle and observe visible signs of impairment.

Grisewood submitted to standardized field sobriety testing, where he performed poorly, and was arrested for DWI.

He did submit to a breath test at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and was subsequently charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more , and failure to keep right.

Grisewood was released with appearance tickets to a sober third party and is scheduled to return to the Town of Pike Court on Dec. 3, 2019 to answer the charges.

On November 16, 2019, following a traffic stop on Leicester Street, in the Village of Perry, Ashley L. Gates , 23, of Perry, NY, was arrested and charged with inadequate lights and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.

Gates was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to return to the Village of Perry Court at a later date.

Bobbi S. Scutt, 37, of Gainesville, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 19 at Martinville Road in the Town of Warsaw on November 16, 2019.

Scutt was stopped for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Scutt was issued a traffic ticket for the misdemeanor and charged with operating a suspended registration. Scutt is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Warsaw Court on December 16, 2019.

On November 16, 2019, following a traffic stop on Leicester Street, in the Village of Perry, Ashley L. Gates, 23, of Perry, was arrested and charged with inadequate lights and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.

Gates was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to return to the Village of Perry Court at a later date.
