A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Darius L. Jones, 27, of Attica, and Trevon L. Armstrong, 34, of Batavia, after they were arrested in a traffic stop in October in the City of Batavia.
Jones and Armstrong are accused of criminal possession of a weapon 2nd, a class C armed violent felony, after they were allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded firearm, an Amadeo Rossi .38 caliber revolver, on October 2, 2019 at East avenue and Ross street during a traffic stop.
In count 2, both Jones and Armstrong are accused of criminal contempt 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, as they allegedly intentionally disobeyed or resisted the lawful process or other mandate of a court during the traffic stop.
In count 3, Jones and Armstrong are accused of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, after allegedly acting in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child less than 17 during the traffic stop.
In count 4, both Jones and Armstrong are accused of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, after they allegedly knowingly and unlawfully possessed a controlled substance, acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride.
In count 5, Jones and Armstrong are accused of unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
In count 6, Jones is accused of exposure of a person, a violation, in which he allegedly appeared in a public place in such a manner that the private intimate parts of his body were unclothed or exposed,
