WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Genesee Falls man charged after four vehicle accident in Gainesville

Deputy Nowak and Deputy Sampson responded to Route 19 and Short Street in the Town of Gainesville on December 19, 2019, for a four vehicle accident.

After an investigation into the traffic accident, it was found that Carl Martin, 28, of Genesee Falls was operating his motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.

Martin is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and following too closely. Martin has one suspension dated 11/30/2019 for failure to pay fine out of Cattaraugus County, Town of Franklinville.

Martin was issued an appearance ticket/uniform traffic ticket with a return court date of January 6, 2020 in the Town of Gainesville Court.

Leanne Coleman, 37, of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on December 17, 2019.

Coleman was stopped by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office after a registration check of her vehicle showed the inspection had expired.

During the stop, it was found that Coleman had a suspended license and unable to operate the vehicle. Coleman is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unlicensed operation, and uninspected motor vehicle.

She was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Sheldon Court.

Deputy responded to Route 19 in the Town of Middlebury for a car versus deer accident on December 16, 2019. The driver of the vehicle, Nicholas Pratt, 24, of Wyoming, NY, was found to have a suspended non driver ID.

Pratt was issued an appearance ticket for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. Pratt is to appear in the Town of Middlebury Court on January 6, 2020 to answer to the charge.
