Rick Stefanon says he is ready for business.
The owner of the Silver Lake Twin Drive-In says his family friendly business has been very busy over the years. This year he has had to move forward with a social distancing plan to reopen due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Silver Lake Twin Drive-In Theatre was built in 1949, Stefanon’s father purchased it in 1966, Stafanon purchased it from his father in 1993.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be operating under these conditions, and the resurgence would be because of something like this,” says Stefanon.
There are rules in place for the snack bar and restrooms. Tickets are first come, first serve. The shows go on rain or shine.
The Silver Lake Twin Drive-In is open Friday-Sun beginning at 6:00p.m., shows start about 8:30-8:45. After Memorial Day, the drive-in will be open during the week also.
