Philip J. Grillo, 42, of Varysburg, was arrested following multiple complaints at 1629 Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on May 25, 2020.
Grillo was the subject of multiple complaints over two days. He is accused of yelling at neighbors and driving an ATV erratically through a mobile home park.
Grillo was told to stay off portions of the property by the landowner, and police were once again called when Grillo again entered the portion of the property he was told to stay off of.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with assistance from the New York State Police, attempted to arrest Grillo, at which time he fought with officers and resisted apprehension.
Grillo was taken into custody and is charged with trespass and resisting arrest.
Grillo was arraigned by Temporary Virtual Arraignment, and an order of protection was set in place against Grillo. He was then released from custody and given a return court date to appear in Wyoming County Court on July 13, 2020 to answer the charges.
Isabella L. Backert, 25, of Varysburg, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on May 22, 2020.
She was stopped for driving a vehicle with a suspended registration.
Backert was found to be allegedly driving without insurance, and her registration and driver’s license were both suspended for insurance not in effect.
Backert is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, operating on a suspended registration, operating without insurance, and failure to notify DMV of address change.
Backert was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Sheldon Court on July 13, 2020 to answer the charges.
Brianna S. Green, 23, of Batavia, was arrested following a shoplifting complaint at the Walmart Store in the Town of Warsaw.
On March 29, 2020 Green was alleged to have stolen $65.82 in merchandise.
Following an investigation, Green was arrested on May 23, 2020 and charged with petit larceny.
Green was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Warsaw Court on July 13, 2020 to answer the charge.
