Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, Jerry L. Davis reports as of earlier today, Thursday, May 28, the Wyoming County Health Department reports seventy-nine (79) lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 among Wyoming County residents. There is no increase in cases since the last reported increase on Tuesday, May 26.
Northwest (*Attica, Bennington, Orangeville, Sheldon) 28 positive cases, 27 recoveries, 0 deaths.
Southwest (Arcade, Eagle, Java, Wethersfield) 13 positive cases, 13 recoveries, 0 deaths.
Southeast (Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls, Pike) 15 positive cases, 15 recoveries, 0 deaths.
Northeast (Covington, Middlebury, Perry, Warsaw) 23 positive cases, 17 recoveries, 5 deaths.
TOTAL 79 positive cases, 72 recoveries, 5 desths
(*Two (2) of the cases reported in the Northwest Quadrant are attributed to the Attica Correctional Facility)
