Mitchell R. Freeman, 31, of Highland Park, Batavia, and Andrew L. Kosiorek, 48, of State St., Batavia, are each charged with assault 2nd, a class D felony and criminal mischief, following a disturbance at a residence on Highland Park on June 17, 2020 at 1:05a.m.
Freeman is additionally charged with burglary 2nd, a class B felony, and petit larceny.
Freeman was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in City Court on July 16, 2020 at 11:00a.m.
Kosiorek was arraigned in City Court via Skype by Judge Rogers. He was remanded to the Genesee County Jail and is due back in City Court on July 23, 2020 at 11:00a.m.
Lendle R. Tucker, 38, of Williams St., Batavia, is charged with menacing 2nd after allegedly displaying a dagger while in a verbal altercation with his neighbor on June 19, 2020 at 10:24a.m.
Tucker was issued an appearance ticket and released. Tucker will appear in City Court on July 21, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
James M. Karas, 63, of Ross St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child, after allegedly subjecting two females under the age of 17 to unwanted physical contact at Austin Park on Jefferson avenue on June 16, 2020 at 2:00p.m.
Karas was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 28, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
Jamie M. Cyr, 38, homeless, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd, burglary 2nd, a class B felony, and resisting arrest following an incident on June 18, 2020 at a City of Batavia residence.
Cyr allegedly violated an order of protection and resisted arrest.
He was arraigned in City Court and will re-appear in court on July 16, 2020 at 11:00a.m.
My son was the victim of attempted MURDER by Andrew L. Kosiorek and Mitchell R. Freeman, also robbery and they thrashed his place. I was never notified. I went to Batavia hospital and police station looking for him, where I was told they knew nothing. I was about to report him missing when I called Strong hospital and found he was in ICU in guarded condition. I called 911 several times trying to find out what happened and no call back
