Licensed Insurance Agent Diana Wagner has officially opened her new location at 212 East Main street in Batavia.
The Genesee County Chamber of Commerce held an official ribbon cutting at Legacy Insurance Group on Tuesday afternoon.
Wagner, a native of Stafford, NY, can assist people with Medicare, specifically through UnitedHealthcare, if you are turning 65 and over, Life Insurance(Term, Whole Life, Universal Life) and the NYS Marketplace(Child Health Plus, Essentials and Individual HMO/PPO plans.
The annual enrollment period for Medicare just opened on October 15th and is open until December 7th. Wagner says she is enrolling people for January 1st effective dates.
“This is a busy time for us right now,” says Wagner.
Wagner says she enjoys being out in the community.
“I really enjoy the relationship building and getting to know clients. It makes it more than just a product, its being part of the community.”
The Office has been open since the first week of October and Wagner says she can meet with people at the office, at their home, a coffee shop, or over the phone by calling 585-409-1041.
UnitedHealthcare Agent Manager for WNY, Kenneth Sciarrino, says this is a great opportunity to see the Medicare products they offer.
“UnitedHealthcare has a number of different plans for a number of different people,” says Sciarrino.
There is a Medicare Advantage Plan, which has a zero premium up to a $4.00 premium. There is also a Dual Special Needs Plan for those in Medicare and Medicaid.
“All our plans come with additional benefits like dental, vision, hearing, fitness and over the counter items.”
