Nicholas B. Turnquist, 35, of Reading Rd., West Falls, NY, is charged with rape 1st degree after a multi-county investigation into a series of sex offenses that occurred at various locations in Genesee, Wyoming and Erie Counties.
In Genesee County the incident occurred on Allegany road in Darien on August 23, 2014.
Turnquist was virtually arraigned in the Town of Darien Court today at 9:00a.m., and ordered held without bail. He is currently being held at the Wyoming County Jail on related charges.
Turnquist was arrested for Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child following the execution of a search warrant with the assistance from the East Aurora Police Department and FBI at 1814 Reading Road, Town of Aurora in Erie County, on April 1, 2020.
He was arraigned before Wyoming County Court Judge Michael Mohun and was committed to the Wyoming County Jail on $500,000 bail on that charge.
Turnquist is due to appear in Genesee County Court at a later date on the rape 1st degree charge.
