On September 7, 2020, Russell J. Hamilton, 30, of Myrtle St., LeRoy, was arrested in the Village of LeRoy after fleeing from a deputy during a traffic stop on Main road in Stafford.
Deputy Kenneth Quackenbush attempted to stop Hamilton on Rt. 5 for vehicle and traffic violations. Hamilton fled from the stop, leading deputies on a vehicle pursuit into the village of LeRoy.
Hamilton allegedly fled from his vehicle on foot, and after a short foot pursuit, Hamilton was taken into custody after attempting to strike a deputy with a dangerous instrument.
Hamilton was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. He is also charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd, menacing 2nd/weapon, obstruction of governmental administration and criminal possession of a weapon/with intent to use
He was released on appearance tickets and will appear in LeRoy Town Court on December 1, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
Greg R. Solomonidis, 24, of Little Canada Rd., Bethany, is charged with assault 2nd after an incident at the Hillside Tavern on Attica road in Alexander on July 22, 2020.
Following an investigation, Solomonidis was arrested on November 11, 2020. He allegedly struck a person in the face, causing serious physical injury to that person.
Solomonidas was arraigned in court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Alexander Court on December 21, 2020 at 10:00a.m.
James M. Caccamise, 32, of Warboys Rd., Byron, is charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, first offense, criminal possession of a controlled substance and moving from a lane unsafely, after a single vehicle accident on Fotch road in Stafford on September 30, 2020.
Caccamise allegedly overdosed on fentanyl while operating his motor vehicle on a public highway. He was also allegedly in possession of a quantity of a controlled substance.
Caccamise was released on appearance tickets and will appear in Stafford Town Court on November 24, 2020 at 9:00a.m.
