Peace Garden volunteers Barbara Toal and Berneda Scoins welcome the public to take in the atmosphere at the Batavia Peace Garden this year, even though its a bit early.
Toal and Scoins say they just wanted to bring a few smiles to people’s faces during the pandemic. Ten Peace Garden volunteers spent several days dressing up the park with holiday lights and signs, which is located next to the Holland Land Office at 131 West Main street in Batavia
The Holland Land Office Wonderland of Tree’s event begins this Friday, November 20, 2020. After checking out the trees, folks are invited to check out the Peace Garden.
(Note, there will not be an opening gala for the Wonderland of Tree’s this year due to the Pandemic.)
