The two incarcerated were housed in the same unit and have been isolated and the Division is following all Wyoming County Health Department orders and recommendations, they additionally were afforded the opportunity to notify family.

All cases have or are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms.

All visitations, non-mandated programs and pistol license application fingerprinting were suspended on Monday, December 27th.

The Sheriff’s Office has contracted with the Wyoming County Health Department for medical services in the Jail for years, so we are fortunate to have such a valuable resource on site to guide us through this surge.

The Officers are doing an incredible and diligent job maintaining the essential operations during this staffing hardship and challenging time.”
