GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man jailed after traffic stop in Pavilion

Walter B. Hale Jr., 43, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with felony DWI/two previous convictions within 10 years, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, use of a vehicle without an interlock device, refusal to take a breath test, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway, driving without a license, and no front license plate, following a traffic stop on Ellicott street road in Pavilion on January 9, 2021 at 5:08pm.

Hale allegedly was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol while his license was revoked.

Hale was arraigned at the Genesee County Jail and arraigned by Judge Mattice. He was held without bail and will appear in Genesee County Court on February 8, 2021 at 1:00pm.

Judy K. Ward, 69, of E. Park St., Albion, is charged with criminal trespass, after she entered a residence of a victim on Sunset Parkway in Oakfield through a side door, and remained there unlawfully on January 5, 2021 at 4:00pm

At 7:50pm, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the residence on Sunset Parkway in Oakfield for the report of a burglary. After an investigation, it was determined that the landlord, Judy K. Ward, entered the residence through the side door.

Ward was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Oakfield Town Court on February 8, 2021 to answer the charge.
